Risk Assessment
The risk assessment course assists delegates with understanding the holistic
concept, legal requirement and importance of conducting risk assessments
within all workplaces. This interactive course includes following a systematic
stepped process approach to risk assessment and risk reduction within the workplace.
The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
The law requires every employer must conduct a risk assessments at their workplaces. If there are more than five employees, then records need to be kept especially if there are high risk and vulnerable individuals such as disabled, young, old or pregnant employees. The objective of this 1-day Level 2 OFQUAL accredited Award is to provide delegates with a broad understanding of risk assessment and includes content such as the benefits of risk assessment, legislation requirements, identifying hazards, the risk assessment process, the hierarchy of control, recording findings and the review process etc.
