OFQUAL Accredited Health and Safety Training
Our health and safety courses are either Level 1 or Level 2 recognized Awards, with competent delegates all receiving OFQUAL recognized certificates. The Award in the Principals of Health and Safety within the Workplace is a Level 1 Award. Delegates are also able to attend the Level 2 Award in Health and Safety within the Workplace. Other suggested courses include the Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment and the Level 2 Award in the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).

Principles of Health and Safety within the Workplace
This 5 hour Level 1 accredited Award course ideal for all employees, provides delegates with a broad introductory understanding of the responsibilities all employees have to health and safety within the workplace and how the workplace can affect health and safety. The course introduces general law, accidents, risk assessments, slips and trips, PPE, manual handling, lifting, safety sign, violence, stress, fire, first aid etc. Both face-to-face and e-learning / online assessment options are available for this course.
Health and Safety within the Workplace
This 1-day Level 2 accredited Award, enables delegates to progress from the Level 1 to this Level 2 course, which contains information and content such as, responsibilities of employers and employees, the benefits of good health and safety, steps to a risk assessment and how they can reduce accidents, near misses and ill health, typical hazards and controls, recording incidents, accidents and ill health and emergency procedures. Both face-to-face and e-learning / online assessment options are available for this course.
Health and Safety in the Workplace – For managers and supervisors
A Level 3 Award, this qualification has been designed for managers, supervisors and team leaders, as well as anyone who is preparing to work at a managerial level. The delegates will benefit from this course by gaining a good understanding of health and safety relevant to their workplace. Topics range from the legal aspects and risk assessments through to the main causes of ill health at work as well as understanding workplace hazards. This course is delivered through e-learning and online assessment only.
Risk Assessment
This Level 2 accredited Award provides delegates with the awareness of the benefits of conducting risk assessments in any environment. The course includes understanding the responsibilities of employers, the main causes and costs of work-related fatalities, injuries and ill health, the role of risk assessment in the prevention of accidents and ill health, the requirements of a risk assessment, a process for undertaking a risk assessment and a method to evaluate risk. This course is delivered through e-learning and online assessment only.
Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
This Level 2 accredited Award is aimed at delegates who have access to any environment where coming into contact with hazardous substances is likely. Examples include workplaces in areas such as manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport and office environments. The course provides delegates with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize the risks associated with hazardous substances and how to control them. This course is delivered through e-learning and online assessment only.
