First Aid at Work
This is a Level 3 OFQUAL accredited 3-day Award course covering emergency first aid such as CPR, AED use, choking, shock and seizures. In addition, the course includes first aid treatment for heart attacks, stroke, asthma and traumatic injuries such as chest, abdominal, head and spinal injuries. Both face-to-face and blended learning options are available for this course.
Emergency First Aid at Work
This is a Level 3 OFQUAL accredited 1-day Award course designed to build confidence in dealing with first aid emergencies such as CPR, the use of an AED, choking, shock, seizures
and other illnesses and injuries.
Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator
A 4-hour Level 2Â OFQUAL accredited award that develops a delegates knowledge and skills required for basic life support. Amongst other things, the course includes adult, child and infant CPR, choking and the use of an AED.
First Aid at Work Requalification
This 2-day Level 3 OFQUAL accredited award course re-qualifies delegates whose First Aid at Work certificate is about to expire, enabling them to work as a first aider for a further 3 years.
First Aid at Work Yearly Refresher
In order to keep your Emergency First Aid and First Aid at Work skills fresh and current, the HSE recommends yearly refreshers. This 5-hour OHS Compliance developed course covers a variety of important topics, for which it is recommended are annually refreshed including CPR and AED usage, choking, recovery positioning, bleeding control, as well as any newly introduced or amended protocols or treatment changes.
Paediatric First Aid
This is a 2-day blended learning Level 3 OFQUAL accredited Award course, 1 day is completed on-line and the 2nd day is completed face to face. If you are a parent or carer of young children and infants or work in an environment that is responsible for their welfare, it is advisable to learn these important first aid skills as they could save a child’s life.
